Welcome to Turner Diagnostic Centre, opened in April 2018. We are proud to offer the only 3T MRI scanner in the Essex/Suffolk area. We provide fast access to high-quality PET-CT and MRI diagnostics to NHS, private medical insurance, private self-pay, and CCG funded patients. Reports are delivered to referrers in 24-48 hours.
We have multiple scanners onsite, including a GE Optima wide bore 1.5T MRI scanner, a GE Pioneer wide bore 3T MRI scanner and a GE MR Discovery PET-CT scanner. We specialise in all types of MRI scanning including MSK, Neuro, Abdominal, Pelvic, Head/Neck, Paediatric, Ferriscan Liver iron loading imaging, MR Arthrography, Breast and Paediatric as well as FDG PET-CT body scans.

The centre is easily accessible by car, bus, and train. There is parking available onsite and bus links to Colchester town and the surrounding areas. Colchester railway station is nearby.
