Welcome to Norfolk and Norwich PET-CT Centre, based at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Our new digital PET-CT scanner will greatly improve access to advanced cancer diagnostics. This £5M investment is providing greater access to appointments, reduced scan times and better imaging quality for NHS, private medical insurance, and private self-pay patients.

Over the years, we have increased our scanning capacity and PET-CT service from a mobile scanner to a static, modular building. Opened in November 2019, our centre operates 5 days a week, scanning 300 patients per month. In 2024, further expansion plans are set to double the size of the centre, moving from three uptake bays to six, and seeing 32 patients per day.

We conduct F18 FDG half body and total body, F18 PSMA and F18 Choline PET-CT scans. Additionally, we will soon be providing F18 FDG Brain imaging for Dementia patients. Reports are delivered to referrers in 48 hours.
