Peter joined Alliance Medical in March 2016 as Clinical Director; becoming Medical Director in December 2020. He provides effective professional medical leadership and management to all clinical staff working in/for Alliance; leads clinical collaboration with NHS-E/I and NHS-X, Royal Colleges and Health Industry bodies; assumes responsibility for new technology evaluation and assessment; supports new projects, R&D and innovation (including AI); ensures Clinical Governance and a Quality Improvement culture is embedded throughout UK; act as AML’s Director of Infection Prevention Control, is AML Responsible Officer; chairs the Integrated Governance and Risk Board, the AML Radiation Protection Committees and the AML audit committee.

Peter is a UK trained and accredited radiologist with specialist interest in PETCT and cross-sectional imaging; maintaining his clinical skills but working for the NHS 1 day per week.
