Scans we offer

PET-CT
A PET-CT scan is a medical imaging technique that combines two types of scans to provide detailed information, primarily used in oncology, neurology, cardiology, infection and inflammation assessment, and in planning surgery and treatment.
MRI
An MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a type of imaging scan that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within the body.
Cardiac MRI
A cardiac MRI is a non-invasive scan using radio waves and magnetic fields to produce detailed images of the heart and blood vessels. It helps diagnose conditions such as heart disease, heart failure, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, and congenital heart defects.
MR Arthogram
A specialised MRI technique where contrast dye is injected directly into a joint, allowing for detailed imaging of joint structures. It is used to detect abnormalities such as cartilage damage, ligament tears, and joint capsule injuries.
MRI Breast Scan
High-resolution imaging of breast tissue using an MRI scanner, commonly used for detecting tumours, cancer, or other abnormalities. It is particularly useful in patients with dense breast tissue or at high risk for breast cancer.
Full body MRI
A full-body MRI is a quick, accurate, and painless scan that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of your whole body. This can help detect abnormalities such as tumours, cysts, injuries, and assess organ function.
Ultrasound
An imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to generate images that are instantly displayed on a screen.
Fusion scanning
Now available at our London Marylebone centre, Ultrasound fusion scanning is an innovative way of getting diagnoses quicker, more accurately and more easily.
Elastography
Elastography is a non-invasive imaging technique used to measure tissue stiffness, helping to detect and monitor conditions like liver fibrosis, tumours, or thyroid abnormalities. Patients may undergo this scan for early diagnosis, treatment planning, or to assess the effectiveness of ongoing therapies.
X-ray
X-ray is a quick and well-established diagnostic tool used to create images of tissues, bones, and organs, offering information for healthcare providers in diagnosing and planning treatments.
Fluroscopy
Fluoroscopy is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain real-time moving images of the internal structures of a patient through the use of a fluoroscope.
CT
A CT scanner, or Computed Tomography scanner, is a medical imaging device that generates detailed internal images of the body, providing more intricate views of bones, tissues, and organs.
Open and Upright MRI
An open MRI is a type of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner designed to offer a spacious, non-claustrophobic environment that allows for full weight-bearing during the scan.
Musculoskeletal Imaging
Imaging of bones, joints, and soft tissues using MRI, CT, or X-rays to diagnose fractures, arthritis, or soft tissue injuries.
Calcium Scoring
This imaging technique uses a CT scan of the heart to detect calcified plaque in coronary arteries, allowing for easier assessment of heart disease risk.
Colon CT
Also called a virtual colonoscopy, this CT scan examines the colon for polyps, cancer, or other abnormalities.
Heartflow FFR-CT analysis
This non-invasive test that uses coronary CT images to assess blood flow and blockages in arteries, helping diagnose coronary artery disease.
Cardiac CT
A detailed CT scan of the heart used to visualise coronary arteries, assess heart disease, or prepare for surgery.
