Welcome to Wigan PETCT Unit. We sit in the grounds of Royal Albert Edward Infirmary Hospital. We work closely with The Christies to ensure patients are getting the best care and outcome. We run a 6 day service with that working 14 hour days. Our Staff have been highly trained in the PET-CT modality and understand the importance of what we are doing to care for patients, showing respect and support where is needed. We thrive on excellence and constantly learning to adapt and develop to a high standard.

At our PET-CT scanner suite we are equipped to conduct a range of scan types, including brain, PSMA for prostate imaging, Choline, and Cardiac Sarcoid.

Please note we also accept paediatric services from the ages of 13-18.
Please note we do accept insured referrals from companies including BUPA, AXA and Aviva, alongside private self-pay patients
