In early 2022, the Alliance Medical recruitment team held a face-to-face event in Dubai. The purpose of this was to meet with our international candidates, for them to get to know us and find out more about life with Alliance Medical. Now, we’re delighted to welcome our new colleagues to the team here in the UK!

Of the individuals recruited in Dubai, here is a spotlight on six of our new team members who have already started in their roles: Krisnalyn, Shibin, Rageesh, Mohammad, Ibrahim and Ali!

Moving country to start a new life can be overwhelming. At Alliance Medical, we ensure that the transition is as stress-free and as seamless as possible by supporting our international colleagues with financial and practical assistance and support on their journey to joining the UK workforce. We also provide a UK driver awareness course, where required for their role, to ensure that they are safe and secure on the roads.

Additionally, we support a “Joining the UK workforce” session provided by the HCPC, which outlines what is required of HCPC-registered professionals working in the UK.

“I’m very glad to be a new resident here in the UK, especially in the north, as it’s very peaceful and serene here!

I really didn’t have any problem settling in because the people here are so nice, they tend to help me a lot.

I am a CT/MRI Radiographer and I am so grateful I am working here for Alliance Medical as I couldn’t ask for more. The staff are so friendly and helpful; they are very patient in teaching me about the workflow and the best thing for me is having a good work-life balance here which I couldn’t experience before!”

There are over 40 nationalities represented in the AML team, with more than 80 skilled international Radiographers joining us in the last 18 months.
