Life Radiopharma f-con GmbH has signed an agreement with ZAG Zyklotron AG - a spin-off of KIT (formerly Karlsruhe Institute of Environment and Technology) -to purchase the entire business shares with effect from 1st January 2021.Axel Schmidt, Managing Director of Alliance Medical Northern Europe (part of the Life Healthcare Group), said: "The acquisition of ZAG will strategically expand our presence in the field of molecular imaging in southern Germany. By expanding our integrated and comprehensive radiopharmaceutical supply and imaging organisation in Europe, we can further enhance our services to nuclear medicine physicians."Karlsruhe-based ZAG is an industry specialist in the manufacture of radioactive products for medicine and technology. Among others, ZAG produces F-18 FDG for PET-CT imaging/tumour diagnostics on a daily basis.
