Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain real-time moving images of the internal structures of a patient through the use of a fluoroscope

Having a Fluoroscopy

In its simplest form, a fluoroscope consists of an X-ray source and fluorescent screen between which a patient is placed. Specialist equipment records the study so that it can be replayed as a later stage for more detailed analysis.

All of the staff, from reception to all the nurses and MRI scanning team, were absolutely lovely. Very friendly and caring, and kept me well informed throughout.
