Alliance Medical signs agreement to purchase Eckert & Ziegler’s cyclotron division

Alliance Medical signed an agreement on 5th May 2017 with Eckert & Ziegler Radiopharma GmbH, a subsidiary of Eckert & Ziegler AG to purchase its entire cyclotron division, consisting of four cyclotrons across Germany, Poland and Austria and with annual revenues of c€18m.

Howard Marsh, Head of Alliance Medicals Radiopharmacy division said: “The acquisition of Eckert & Ziegler’s cyclotron division further extends our Molecular Imaging presence in Northern Europe, supplementing both our PET/CT scanning services across the region as well as our radiopharmacy facilities in the UK and Italy. By creating the largest integrated Radiotracer supply and Imaging organization in Europe, we are able to offer a range of solutions to meet all customer's needs.”
